No planning permission is required for drone flights. MoDroneView is a CAA-registered operator with an Operator ID and Flyer ID, operating legally within the UK Open Category rules. Airspace restrictions are checked before every shoot using official tools, and you will always be notified of any limitations at your specific property.
Flights are not made in unsafe conditions. Wind, heavy rain, or low visibility affect image quality and safety. If conditions are unsuitable, you will be contacted as early as possible to reschedule at no charge. Forecasts are monitored closely, with at least 24 hours notice of any rescheduling.
All edited files are delivered via a private download link (Google Drive or WeTransfer) within 24–48 hours of the shoot. Images are provided in high-resolution JPEG format suitable for web and print. Video is delivered as MP4 in social-ready formats. 360° tour links are provided as hosted shareable URLs you can embed directly on your property listing.
Yes. The drone falls under the Open Category A1 rules (sub-250g), which permits flight over uninvolved people and in most residential areas. All flights are conducted responsibly, with neighbours informed where appropriate, and never over crowds. For properties near controlled airspace (e.g. near Manchester Airport), temporary permission may be required, and this is handled in full.
Bookings can usually be accommodated within 24–48 hours. For best availability, 2–3 days notice is ideal. For urgent listings, just get in touch and every effort will be made to fit you in quickly.
Yes. Volume rates and monthly retainer arrangements are available for estate agents with regular requirements. Get in touch to discuss what works for your agency.
Payment is accepted via bank transfer (BACS), PayPal, and most major debit/credit cards via invoice. Purchase order arrangements are available for agencies. Payment is due within 7 days of delivery for regular clients, or upon delivery for new clients.
Once payment is received, you receive a full commercial licence to use the images and video for all property marketing purposes: listings, social media, print, and your own website. MoDroneView retains the right to use imagery in its portfolio unless requested otherwise in writing.
